Here is the timeline and list of all of the arcs and this lists of chapters although keep in mind there will be at least (in my opinion) 10-12 filler/breathing chapters in between or inside of the arcs throughout the entire story Which makes this 8% filler (12/149 = 0.08 then *100) Conf = confirmed and ready to write/complete Conf = still confirming and half-baked Conf = cut out or potential filler arc

This is a very simple version of each arc and what purpose they serve in the story

Now then I am going to add some filler chapters just to occasionally to lighten up the mood and expand the world a bit more These chapters will be a bit more like a slice of life in the ouraboros world Each arc will contain around 2-3 filler chapters Although these filler chapters dont take up too much pages around 10-15 at most Just fyi As of now, there are 14 arcs and 161 chapters including the fillers

I am not gonna insert them in the middle of tension I will place them usually AFTER or just before Say like before a big battle or after a big reveal But ofc this all depends on where in the story we are At the beginning the filler will show a bit more as the beginning is slightly more light hearted compared to the final arcs Towards the end filler arcs will become less

Before it became known as Hollowman’s shore, a small fishing village once resided there, called Haloedge. The villagers living there had no real concern over who won the crown war as they were happy as is anyways. But in the 2nd crown war, it was destroyed in one night by the collateral damage of the battling armies of each kingdom. And ever since then, the village became a haunted and supernatural spot where people disappeared. The reason for many disappearances is because of the resentful spirits of the villagers. They wanted no part of this war yet they were forcibly dragged into it and just simply left as collateral damage and no one cared. Where the name “Hollowman” comes from is actually an old fisherman tale from Haloedge. The Hollowman is a supernatural man that comes out when the fog gets heavy on the village’s shore and takes whoever is out there fishing. Now this tale was just purely fictional to prevent children from playing in the fog and falling into pits and hurting themselves

But this town has more importance than anyone can think This town was the exact spot where Ragna sealed away the last and most dangerous titan in the forbidden realm : the titan of darkness, Overlord. While the forbidden realm is its own dimension, this town is still technically the “closest” point to the tomb of Overlord And Overlord being the titan of darkness presides over the nature of “death” Now titans still need sustenance over time. And overlord took advantage of the vengeful spirits of Haloedge and told the spirits that he, as the titan of darkness and death, will free the spirits if they feed him the souls of the people of Aragon. And if the spirits did not do as overlord asked, they would suffer eternal damnation, forever wandering between life and death, never resting

A few things about Hollowman’s shore is that the fog seemingly never rises. Fisherman have reported seeing ports that never existed once they got closer to the village, and see figures standing in the fog on their knees praying towards the sky At night, some sailors claim they can see the lamps inside the houses light up and see freshly towed in fishes But upon closer inspection, the “freshly towed in fishes” became rotten and bones No one knew that Overlord’s tomb was sealed there of course But every now and then, reports of a man carrying a blue flamed lantern would seemingly arrive on the shore and walk up to a ruined and abandoned house at the edge of Haloedge When sailor ships tried to get closer to the village to try and see who it was, they couldn’t. They always seem to stay at the exact same place even though they can see the water moving. And until the man left the house and got back onto his boat and left, they couldn’t get close. Even when they contacted people who were on the shores already, they said they can’t get close to the house no matter if they walk, run or sneak up behind it. The village seemed like a separate dimension when the man came. In reality, the man carrying a blue flamed lantern was really overlord’s “soul” going into the village and demanding the souls they collected before returning to his tomb again but nobody knows that

Now how does this Hollowman’s shore connect to the actual story? After a tragic death of one of Ashen’s friends, Dante thought it would be a good idea for Ashen to go on a simpler mission with him So Dante chose the Hollowman’s shore because people reported that many individuals went missing there because of “ghosts” Now, obviously, majority of the people don’t believe in ghosts or spirits so Dante thought this was an easy peasy mission and a relaxing one to go on for Ashen and him But he was wrong obviously But this begs the question : How is Ashen and Dante getting into the village when no one can? Thats because ashen is the reincarnation of ragna The one who created the seal can naturally “walk” into it again And because of Ashen’s influence, so did Dante Obviously, no regular day to day hunter would normally take this mission as most hunters just consider this as “a child prank” to waste their time but Dante didn't really care as he knew ashen just needed a breather When ashen and dante enter the town, the fog seem to rise for the first time But when they tried to open doors to the houses, none of them would budge like they are locked from the inside. Even though this town was supposed to be abandoned for hundreds of years, the town seemingly “rejected” ashen and Dante's arrival

They finally found a house with an openable door. It was the house on the edge. The door was surprisingly light and easy to open. They walked inside to find a table already laid out neatly Fancy cups were placed on the table with fine dining forks and knives with food in the middle and a lit chandelier on the ceiling The only issue : all the food was just bones No scrap No signs of eating Just bones neatly laid on a plate The flames of the candle were blue and also flicked intensely whenever ashen came close And just moments later Footsteps were heard coming up the foot of the house The lantern man was coming

Dante and ashen hid in the corner 3 knocks were heard from the door And the door swung open by itself The floor freezes in front of the

Although now that i look at it i feel like some chapters may be cramped as my story has ALOT of lore and buildup and developments so 100 chapters i feel like is not adequate enough to do it justice

FULL CHRONOLOGICAL TIMELINE FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE STORY

At the beginning of existence, the original being split up into 7 fragments known as titans representing one aspect of existence : Overlord of darkness, Horizon of Light, Havoc of Destruction, Virus of Earth, Vulcan of Fire, Thalassa of Water, and finally Ragna of creation
The titans fought for millennias, trying to take other titans power due to their feeling of lack of completeness
Whilst they fought, their leftover ryu created the stars, the galaxies, the planets and all that exists
Eventually, over the millennias, the titans grew tired and each settled down on earth.
Life began to form from the titans overwhelming amount of ryu leftover from their fights
And so the first dragon and first demons alongside the first humans came along
Awakened by the life energy that the dragons, demons, and humans had, the titans risen once again for their endless conquest for power
The titans saw that they could enslave the mortals and force them do their bidding instead
At this time, dragons, demons, and humans began to learn how to wield ryu
The first of the 3 great mage family had began to show
The Futowari, the Argos and the Asterion
Amongst the Asterion, a man named Cirius was tired seeing the meaningless death and destruction the titans have caused
Thus he read the roots of the ancient tree of where the Asterion lived
He viewed the many different possibilities of the future and saw one where in the distant future, a great kingdom was formed
He saw that a slave was the key to this future
The slave was a young boy named Ragna
But the Asterion clan had a rule : they must not affect the future
But Cirius decided to break it for the good of a kingdom yet to come
He found the boy and shared his vision of the future
Cirius did everything exactly the way he saw it
And a mysterious force awakened in the boy
Ragna now rebelled against the his titan enslaver
One by one, the titans fell
Together with his 3 companions, Ember, Azarael, and Michael, Ragna sealed the titans away in 6 different locations
Alongside with his 3 companions, ragna created the land of Aragon
He built lotus, where he would rule for the next 1000 years
Ragna had 3 sons : Atreus, Kingsmen, Midas
The 3 sons were each gifted in different areas. Kingsmen was a natural born warrior, who won the support of the demons. Atreus was cunning, smart, and inventful, he was a genius who won the support of the dragons. Midas, however, was none of these things. But he could sway the people and was an excellent talker. He won the support of the humans.
But then came the time where Ragna dies, leaving his 3 sons — Indeed i should explain what does obtaining the crown actually does — “He who dons the Iron Crown and sit upon the Ivory Throne is he who rules Aragon” — This is an ancient law created by the founders of Aragon — These 4 founders are :
Ragna, the legendary hero that rebelled against the titans enslavement
Ember, the 1st dragon king
Azarael, the 1st demon king
Adam, the 1st human king — But the other reason is this — Subconsciously, all ryu that resides within aragon is mysteriously controlled by the throne — Like a toy car remote to a toy car — But no one realizes this nor does anyone know this fact

Knull, the slave of eternity

With the throne being so important, i figured i should at least describe it

The throne was designed as the ultimate fail safe or catalyst for the tombs of the titans The throne serves as a second key to unlock or lock the tombs And the reason why Ragna made it so that the throne controls all ryu because the power of the titans are so immense that ALL living creatures ryu is needed to just suppress the titans Now then here are ALL the PARTICIPATING factions of the Great Crown Wars and their reasons of wanting the crown

The Dragon kingdom

Allied with the Futowari clan
The futowari clan reason for allying : the dragons promised wealth and shared territories
Dragon kingdom’s reason for wanting the crown : territorial expansion due to overpopulation and limited region of hospitable space (since they all live on one island) — The Demon kingdom :
Allied with the Argos clan
The argos clan reason for allying : citizenship and recognition + protection and lifting the curse the Futowari clan has placed on the Argos clan
Demon kingdom’s reason for wanting the crown : changing their social reputation and their life. Demons were unknowingly banished and socially rejected due to the demon's looks and appearances. Also framed as villains throughout history many times over with no justification as of why — The human kingdom :
“Allied” or formed a defensive pact with the Hunters
The hunters reason for allying : a huge sum of money to be paid to the hunters and social power with special permissions
Human kingdom reasons for wanting the crown : to have a sense of power and identity once again in a world filled with dragons, demons, and gods. Humans want to once again be the “predators” not the “prey” like they used to be before dragons and demons

Now there is one more faction participating in the shadows, pulling the strings that started the war in the first place The Severus : an organization formed by none other than the “extinct” mage clan, Asterions. Asterion's power was to see through time itself. They can read the past, see the present, and see possibilities of the future. Every time they attempt to see into the future, they only see eternal war and destruction between the 3 kingdoms. They thought it was all meaningless and since they were given such extraordinary powers, they took it upon themselves to change the world. They started the war and aimed to bring down the 3 kingdoms, releasing the ancient gods, the titans, imprisoned by the legendary hero Ragna. By releasing the titans, they believe they are restoring balance back into the world and “reset” it to its purest state. The Asterion’s was the one that actually helped the person who killed Ragna. And lets just say, that person is very unique The leaders of the Severus were the one that actually helped the Asterion people who were tired of seeing death and destruction overthrow their passive original leader who believed in neutrality. Their new leader is called Omen.

Omen Greyfield, the parallel version of Ashen,

Yes, omen is ashen. BUT, this version of Ashen comes from a parallel reality where he became a villain rather than staying a hero. His reality is already doomed, completely taken over by titans; Omen was born in a reality where Ragna never existed. This version of Ashen obviously isn't the reincarnate of ragna as ragna never existed in his world but rather he has incredibly good swordsmanship and can control or read minds. He can show memories to others or take memories from others, hence his self made name “Omen”. He came to reality 151 (the current reality) because he hoped to find a version of himself with the power to fulfill his mission. He has killed countless other versions of Ashen in the multiverse and stolen their abilities and come to this reality to get reality 151’s Ashen’s power. Omen too saw countless other versions of universes throughout the multiverse that fought and destroyed to no avail. No outcome. No reason. And so, he teamed up with the asterions and helped them. But, Omen wanted something bigger. He wanted to not only change reality 151’s fate. He intends to change the ENTIRE multiverse’s fate, through Ashen's power. His real name however is Aeon Aeon Greyfield But under all that heroic and “bravery” lies a personal reason

Before all this, Aeon had a sister called Emma When they were little, similar to ashen and alatrius, Aeon made a promise to her sister that he’d become a hero for her sister as Emma loved heroes. But, this childhood promise soon turned into an ambition that Aeon wanted to fulfill : to become the greatest hero ever. And so Aeon set out to do just that In his world, ragna did not exist because aeon WAS ragna. Aeon was the legendary hero that subdued the titans and help create Aragon But his arrogance at his power left him vulnerable. Unlike ragna, he did not seal them. Rather, aeon made the titans his slaves in his mission to achieve greater power to then become the greatest hero But one cannot control what one cannot comprehend or understand And so, the titans broke free and in anger of aeon, destroyed his reality and subsequently killed his sister Now, aeon might be powerful, but nothing can bring back a dead person No one can All except for the titans And specifically one titan can The titan of creation, Ragna or the sin of pride But when aeon confronted the titans, they said that the titan of creation did not exist At least, not in this reality And so aeon traversed the multiverse with a power he stole from the king of demons, "temporal rift”, and searched for Ragna And soon he came to learn that, he himself, in other reality, was the incarnation of ragna But none of them held what he wanted, the power of creation The titans explained to him that while there are different realities, titans are one single entity, it's just that their consciousness is fragmented in every reality All except for the titan of creation Yes, only reality 151, which is ashens reality, holds the power of creation And creation is necessary Because aeon wants to create a reality One that where his sister is still alive One that he never made his promise And in an ironic way, he still believes he's a hero Because by resetting existence itself, he “saves” countless other lives from dying in needless war Thus in a twisted but still correct way He becomes the greatest hero

Here is the interesting bit though Remember aeon has the power to alter memories Thats what he did to the entire asterion population He altered their memories To THINK, that there was no hope And thus, aeon can control them to help him find ashen and creating the correct environment to awaken the titan of creation’s power The Great Crown War

No, aeon is not aware of those 2 While he is a parallel version of ashen There are still differences in his reality and ashens reality

Formed temporary alliances with titans
Reason for titans forming an alliance with the severus : the titans wish to free themselves from the ancient prison which Ragna sealed them in. And the catalyst to their seal is the throne. Yes, the literal throne itself.
Severus' reason for wanting the crown : ironically, to tear down the current system and replace it with a new one. The severus are people who are the minorities of the world and are the ones oppressed by the crown
They are the ones who killed ragna with the assistance of the titans, starting the Crown war to slowly weaken the seal on the titans

Aeron shall be his name

Anyways, allow me to explain who he is

Aeron is the main character Now with humanity gone from earth, humans seek a way to survive elsewhere. Thus became Project Araxys : human clones with genetically modified abilities such as night vision, prolonged periods without oxygen and minor regeneration. Aeron is the 56th batch to be created. But here is the twist : they are not some genetically enhanced humans. No, they are clones of “heroes” (the hunters) of the past who once fought valiantly for humanity against the dragons or demons but fell in battle. And where Aeron is special, is that he is the clone of Ragna. Now the hero Ragna, does not exist. Not really as far as the general public is concerned. Ragna is a hero that was erased from history for a hidden reason. So once Aeron discovers the secret of what truly he is and every other Araxys project, their faith in rules break as the very people who tabooed magic (or ryu in other words) created them using it but faking it in the name of "technology" along with unraveling the past as of what truly happened on earth 2000 years ago when humanity fled from earth

Now here is the interesting bit : the name Ragna doesn’t mean anything in this world. Ragna as far as most humans are concerned does not “exist”. The reason for this is that the higher authorities of humanity, the Archons, buried Ragna’s legend for an unknown reason. In comparison to one of the other characters, Kaisel, who is the clone of Gilgamesh, claimed as one of the legendary heroes that fought against the titans, Gilgamesh’s story was preserved perfectly and was widespread everywhere. Within the company Bioxis, the company that created project araxys, they secretly have a "hierarchy system” that is built into each araxys (what aeron and Kael is). The higher you are in the hierarchy system, the more power and more control you have over the lower rankings through a system built into each of them called “visage” But out of all of the araxys, only Aeron dared to question the authority. And that precisely is why the Archons erased Ragna or at least tried to. The 56th batch that Aeron came out of originally was errored. The factory was lit on fire but Aeron survived. Now the factory was set on fire by the Archons who knew ahead of time that somehow and someone managed to dig up the history of Ragna and cloned him so the Archons set fire to the factory and posted the fire on the news as a “factory malfunction” so the truth can't be seen. The decision that Aeron has to make is this To allow humanity to come back to earth or leave it as it is as earth seems better off without humanity Is it better to repeat the same mistake for survival or do his job? On earth there are actually still humans that are the descendants of people who didn't make it to mars as only the upper class made it These people, called “surfacain” people, are more of an off branch of the human evolution as 2000 years on the planet changed their biology And they call Aeron and the other araxys units that land on earth “sky people” The surfacain people have learned to co-exist with the dragons and demons. As they were never “evil” Dragons and demons were confused when they resurfaced. Confused that the world they once inhabited had changed so much. They were shot, killed, and before even official reports of them came out about then, the higher ups treated them hunting big game. The titans are worshipped as gods and the balancers and guardians of nature with the titans actually respecting and deliberately avoiding the surfacain peoples area of residency and vice versa And naturally, the surfacain grew a hatred for the sky people over the years of kidnapping them and studying them and even burning some of their homes down to make landing points Yes and you guessed it correctly Ragna was the only hero that turned against humanity

Here is some lore about Aragon There are 3 kingdoms and they each do dominate a certain territory But there is one place that no one dare steps into The Hollowman’s Shore Legends claim that those who set foot there will disappear forever The creepy thing is that those related to the person will also be attracted to the Hollowman’s Shore and disappear one by one Entire families vanished overnight allegedly like this

TIMELINE FOR OURABOROS : SINGULARITY

(this is VERY general timeline just pure plot and there will be more stuff inside the full timeline)

Start on Uranus, the day of Sabbath
Aeron is sent to earth alongside with his unit in an attempt to recon and regain territory on earth
On entry of earth’s atmosphere however, they were attacked by the titan of light, Horizon
This has never happened before so they didn’t know what to do
The ship crashes onto earth
Aeron and his unit seems to be all right but they ship is now wrecked
Their transmitter was broken due to the crash but their tracking chip implanted inside them are still intact so after a while, the skypeople will notice that they didn’t come back and send rescue units after them
But as the night falls, they must gather supplies
However, they are attacked by the wildlife and Aeron was separated from his unit
Aeron thus camped through the night alone
At dawn, Aeron attempt to hunt for food
But his leg was caught in a trap that reeled him up to a tree
An arrow fired at him but was stopped narrowly by Aeron's shield
A human head pops out of the bush
A native surfacain girl, Thalia pulled Aeron down once realizing that Aeron is not prey
Thalia realizes that Aeron is from the skypeoples land
She quickly strings an arrow to her bow and held it towards Aeron
Aeron held both of his hands up and tried to calm Thalia down
A war horn sounds

And if you really think about it carefully, ALL of these stories could technically align in one giant universe Now i advertised that Singularity is in an alternate universe, but theoretically if one thinks about it enough, the 4 stories : Ouraboros, System Awakens, Ragnarok, and Singularity could ALL exist in the exact same universe AND timeline

Ragnarok being the first chronologically Ouraboros being the second System Awakens being the third Singularity being the fourth

The logic also lines up perfectly as well. With Ragnarok, Ouraboros, and System Awakens being in the same timeline already and with the ending for System Awakens being that humanity forgot about titans and how to use ryu perfectly ties in with the tabooed nature of ryu and how humanity doesn’t know much about the titans and dragons and demons but only know them from myths So if one is to think, singularity is the far far distant future of ouraboros This could be further supported as Ragna, is a CONSTANT force within ALL of them, shown as the strongest being in existence and a mysterious force of balance

But this is the one part where it can basically confirm the notion of how all these 4 stories are connected At the end of singularity, Aeron finds himself strangely emotionally pulled to a small deteriorated town in Tokyo Japan He is drawn particularly to a small house sitting on top of a green hill ( MASSIVE hint to those who read Ouraboros) where a fenced gate has an engraving on it : Greyfield household (hint hint who else is named Greyfield?) And as Aeron walks through the door, he sees very old pictures everywhere Of a swordsman Dragons with a girl Demons with a boy 3 dragons standing on a beach And finally at the center, a man with two childs When Aeron reaches out to the picture, he turns it over to reveal a small hand written note : Ashen Greyfield and his family

Ashen gives up glitch and splits it between the titans for balance
The throne of Aragon is gone and a new council of the 3 kingdom is formed
The 3 kingdoms will form a unified council with the titans as the overseer of the council enforcing rules and giving out opinions — Sequel System awakens ending :
Umbra wipes ryu from existence killing the system
Dragons moved underground and the demons crawled back to the sea
With ryu gone, the titans were gone too
Finally, humans lived normally
Connecting to the modern day world where dragons and demons are myths, ryu is called magic, and titans remembered as gods from myths and legends like greek, roman, norse and everything

This is an echo across time The picture of a swordsman is Ashen’s brother Adam as the crimson swordsman A dragon with a girl is the dragon king Basil and Ruby Demons with a boy is Ashen himself as Azarael and the demons that follow him The 3 dragons on a beach are the dragon guards And the picture of Ashen and his family is Ashen himself, Umbra, Orion, and his wife Yelena and on the side Ashen’s brother Alatrius

With Aeron being a clone of Ragna and Ashen being the reincarnation of Ragna in the past

The “loop” or a literal ouraboros, is complete

FULL TIME LINE FOR OURABOROS MAIN

The reader meets our main character ashen in a market
Ashen shops for food
A vendor asks him why he visits his brother so much
The woman beside the vendor says that ashen’s brother is dangerous
Ashen leaves without saying a word
As he walks on his way to a place he passes by a field
He sees kids playing in the field
He looks at them with longing eyes for a moment but moves on
He looks towards the dungeon
He passes by the guards by showing them an ID
The guard thats inside greeted ashen by saying its his 4th time today
Ashen coldly responds with “just open the gate”
The guard says “your funeral”
The gate opens
Down the hallways, there are criminals of all kind
Burglars, murderers, thieves, serial killers, assassins
The prisoners taunt ashen as walks towards the end of the hallway
at the end of the hallway sat another gate, reinforced with sealing papers and stones
Ashen touches a pad of some sort and the gate slid open
The prisoners slowly retreat backwards inside their cages and they became silent
Ashen walks in and the gate closes behind him
Inside the room, it was filled with toys, stuffies, and colorful walls along with many books
A boy sat in the center of the room playing
He turns around
Greets ashen enthusiastically by hugging him
Ashen greets his brother, Alatrius
Ashen puts down the food he bought earlier in the market and asks alatrius how hes been doing
Alatrius says great and he looks towards the grocery that ashen just put down
He asks if ashen bought his favorite food
Ashen pulls out a piece of chocolate bar
They eat and play cards for a bit until ashen finally had to go
Alatrius begged ashen to stay
Ashen says he has to go back to the orphanage otherwise the director will get mad
Alatrius lets go of ashens arm and says fine
With a sigh ashen sits down and says that he will stay until the morning
Happy now, alatrius asks ashen to play another round of old maid with him
The sun set soon and the two layed down on the floor
Alatrius asks ashen to tell him his favorite story
Ashen says “again? You are just like those kids at the orphanage. You asked me that twice this week”
Alatrius said with a smile “well i want to hear it again”
Ashen sighs and told him the tale of Ragna, the legendary hero
When ashen was done, alatrius asked if ashen thinks that if Ragna was really a real person
Ashen shrugs and says that "I don't think so. No one is THAT powerful. In the story he literally destroyed a whole mountain by cutting it in half”
The two debated for a very long time whether if Ragna splitting a mountain was real or not
Just as ashen was about to finish, a thunderous boom went off
“Stay here, i will go see whats going on outside” ashen said
“I will come with you” Al said getting up
“No! Stay. They will kill you if you walk outside again” ashen said
Alatrius shrinks back in a sad way
“... fine, come with me. But do exactly as I say got it? Run when i say run” ashen said
As they exit the dungeon, all the prisoners shrink back
A couple shout “what are you thinking? Taking HIM out?”
“Are you mad? Do you want EVERYONE to DIE?” another shout
Ashen ignores them as he leads Al away
The guard was already gone presumably too to check out what happens
As they stepped outside Al felt relieved (this will be visual)
The stars were out and the moon was crescent
Alatrius could smell the fresh midnight spring dew
Just as Al looks up to a sky, a fireball rains down
Dragons were attacking
A large group of dragons landed straight behind ashen and Al
“We found him. West south territory, commander” the dragon spoke
The dragon bends down and says “it indeed is you, lord of destruction”
The dragon smacks ashen aside into a building with his tail
Frozen in fear alatrius stood still with a panicked expression
A dragons lunged out
“Go away!” alatrius yelled stumbling to the ground
The dragons claw touched alatrius hair
In that instant, the dragon froze in the air
The dragons body begin to crack from his claw
The dragon exploded and fell into pieces
“Don’t touch him bare handed you fools! He can destroy you with just a touch” the leader yelled
This then switches to ashens POV
Where he see Al getting taken away, screaming for help
He was trapped under the burning rubble
Just as ashen was almost free, ashen turns his head around to see a cloaked man right infront of him
“Fate is cruel isn't it?” the man says touching ashens face in a gentle way
“Lets see how you will do” the man says
Omen then presses two fingers onto ashens forehead
Ashen falls unconscious
Ashen wakes up in a hospital from dream

The severus is introduced

during the night as the crimson swordsman(adam) appear
Adam is interrupted by an unknown individual (omen)
They have a small fight
The two combatants flee
The crownest take over the battlescene and analyze dna samples
Dante finds the report weird and raises suspicion about Ashen's true nature
Few days later they infiltrate the castle secretly in an attempt to find alatrius
Alatrius isnt in the cell
The guards find them
Alatrius appears behind the guard along with Ruby
Switch POV for around a chapter to alatrius to explain what happened inbetween
Ashen and dante is knelt before the dragon king Basil and the 3 Dragon Guards (the personal guards of the king)
Basil understands the situation but just as basil decides what to do, the severus attack
Alarms are raised and ensues a short battle scene between the dragons and the severus
The characters got split up due to this situation
The boss of the sevreus appears and the dragon guards show up for a fight
The 3 dragon guards struggle and Basil shows up
Basil struggles slightly but defeats the boss of the severus
Meanwhile alatrius encounters several members of the severus
Alatrius got stabbed by a holy fragment and Havoc takes over his body
Meanwhile ashen is alongside Fenrix and Ruby
A shadowy figure races around them
Fenrix was busy fighting so he had his hands full
Ashen narrowly dodges the figure but it heads straight for Ruby
Fenrix steps in to take the blow
Short fight scene between fenrix and the figure
Fenrix falls defeated and the shadowy figure rips his cloak off revealed to be alatrius
stunned ashen was stabbed from the back by alatrius
Alatrius falls unconscious
Ashen rage scene starts
The severus tries to capture ashen as that was their main purpose of coming to the dragon kingdom
Ashen puts up a fight
Finally ashen collapse in the midst of one of his moves
The severus takes him and run
After extracting a fragment of glitch from ashen they dump ashen in the demon kingdom where they thought ashen would die

Ashen was rescued by a young demon girl
Ashen wakes up as the demon girl tells her what happens

He sees ruby outside and asks whats going on
Ruby doesn't answer him as she was very sad and very angry that alatrius killed fenrix

POV switch back to ashen whom just learned what the titans were
The grandma sees how ashen is sort of disoriented by all the knowledge asks the demon girl to take ashen outside and walk around
Brief introduction to the demon kingdom
Ashen caught the attention of a demon
they started to point him out until eventually a guard asks what the commotion
The guard recognizes ashen from the newspaper as ashens rage was known throughout the land of aragon
The guards drag ashen into an arena where the demon king orpheus was
The demon king orpheus promises ashen to let him go if he defeated his champions
Short fight between ashen and the champion
in the fight ashen refuses to use glitch out of fear of repeating what happened in the dragon kingdom
However in one final life or death moment ashen used glitch symbolically accepting glitch
The demons watch in awe as ashen demonstrates glitches power
Defeated the champion
The demon king orpheus steps down himself to challenge ashen
A long fight ensues between ashen and the demon king orpheus
looks at ashen with wide open eyes when orpheus felt ashens ryu
Oprheus bowed down and started to whisper “Azarael”
The crowd that was watching the duels also began to chant “Azarel”
During the night ashen was haunted by how the demons called him azarael
A demon knocked on his door
Ashen opened his chamber
“Apologies for disturbing you this late in the evening my lord” the demon said
“But as the winter has settled in, it is time for your annual attendance at the midnight auction”
“A what?”ashen said confused
“Oh. It appears your majesty wasn’t aware of this. I shall explain it to you right away sire” the demon said
“The Midnight auction is a long held tradition of the underworld where you, my sire, attend every year during the winter solstice. You bid upon items and luxurious goods that your majesty might find appealing"
“Must I go?” ashen said awkwardly
Stunned, the demon said quickly “I am afraid that the auctioneer is expecting you to attend sire. The auctioneer has already prepared you a seat. I may check if you'd like”
Unsure of his decision, ashen stops for moment to think
If he chooses not go, it may lead to trouble which ashen wants no part of as it might force him to use glitch again
On the other hand, if he goes, he is joining the ranks of king for real now
“Fine. I will attend. When is it um?” ashen was unsure of what to call the demon
“It's Yelena, your majesty. But to answer your question, its 4 moons later” the demon said (4 moons mean 4 days in this world)
Four days later ashen was escorted to the capital city of Aragon (where old king of aragon used to live), Lotus
“I am surprised they would hold the auction in here” ashen said looking around. The buildings have now been decayed and vines and trees crawled around the buildings
“Since the last great crown war, no one publically that is, has set foot inside here. It makes the perfect spot for such event your majesty” yelena answered
Ashen looked ahead where a large temple stood before them : the Emerald Palace
“So this is where the king used to live” a demon soldier looked at the great walls
“Too bad its now being just used as a place of auction”
The demon soldiers opened the gates
They walked inside seeing that many have already arrived
Dragons, humans, other demons (in preparation of ashens arrival some demons were sent ahead in case of danger) they all stood in the throne hall talking about the auction
The highest of elites were there : Archons of the humans, military general of the dragons, and now the king of demons ashen (or azarael in demon sense)
Yelena led ashen and the other demons onto a high balcony where ashen could see the entire auction
A man walked up to the front in a suit and tie with a small iron walking stick
People began to sit down
The man tapped his stick on the ground and the room went silent
The man stood up and bowed down towards the throne that sat at the end of the hall and the other followed in silent
The throne was dilapidated and basically now covered by vines
The man turned around “I, Raiza, will be your host for tonight for the 101th Midnight Auction”
The room filled with sounds of clapping for a few seconds
“Before I begin the auction, may I introduce our special guests for this splendorous occasion”
Raiza pointed his hand towards the left side of the balcony “we have Mr.Vimsmoker of the Archons”
Some clapping. Ashen asked Yelena whats an Archon
“I am unsure, my lord but I do know that they are some sort of leaders for humans. And they are quite wealthy as well”
Raiza then directed his hands toward the right side “and we have have Cosmic of the Dragon Guards”
Some clapping
“What's Cosmic doing here?” ashen thought in horror. He quickly pulled over his cloak
Cosmic had a stern look on his face. As usual.
“And last but certainly not least” the auctioneer directed the spotlight to the center where ashen was sitting
“The demon king himself has blessed us with his presence once again, Azarael”
A lot of clapping this time
“Now then with our introduction out of the way, welcome, ladies and gentlemans, to the 101th Midnight Auction”
Many items go by and ashen did even bid on some (well mostly it was yelena who did so)
“Gentlemen,” the auctioneer’s voice echoed through the chamber, smooth and unhurried, “alas, we have arrived at our final offering for tonight.”
“But since the special occasion of us moving past the century, the Midnight Auction wants to present you rather something…special tonight”
The lights dimmed.
A low hum rolled through the underground hall as a single spotlight ignited at the center of the floor.
A cage.
Chains hung heavy from its frame, coiled like sleeping serpents. Inside, a man knelt, head lowered, metal restraints biting into his wrists and spine.
“Now we have all seen slaves up here come and go no big deal, yes?” the auctioneer said
The crowd nodded in response
“But have you ever had a slave … that could wipe out entire legions?” the auctioneer grinned
“One of the most wanted criminals in the history of Aragon. The Crimson Swordsman.”
A murmur rippled outward.
Inside the cage, the man lifted his head.
His eyes were calm.
Not afraid. — Not pleading.
Watching.
“With over three hundred confirmed kills,” the auctioneer said casually. “Entire battalions erased. Cities destabilized. A legacy built upon death.”
A man in the crowd scoffed.
“Which fool would pay for that?” he muttered. “Just an ordinary hitman if anything.”
The auctioneer smiled.
“Ah. If that were all, I would agree.”
The cage lights cut out.
A massive screen descended behind the stage.
“Allow me to show you just one instance of this mans power on full display”
The screen flickered.
Footage erupted across the hall.
Adam,moving faster than the eye could follow. Steel screaming. Bodies thrown like dolls. An arm igniting with light as an entire street folded inward under invisible force.
Gasps replaced laughter.
“Behold,” the auctioneer said softly, “the Araxys Arm.”
The screen froze on a single frame, Adam standing amid ruin, his mechanical limb glowing.
“Named in the old texts as the Hands of God.”
The footage resumed.
Energy bolts tearing through fortifications. — Magnetic force ripping weapons from soldiers’ grips. — An EMP wave swallowed the battlefield in silence.
“Repulsion. Attraction. Energy discharge. Total battlefield control.”
The screen went dark.
The spotlight returned to the cage.
The room was silent
“Well then start me on this, with 10 million” the auctioneer said
The crowd exploded with numbers flying up
What went from 10 million quickly flew up into the heavens with 45 million
Inside the cage, the man gazed up towards the balcony
He looked directly at ashen
The man was seemingly bewildered but quickly diverted his head away
Ashen was confused why the man stared at him but shrugged it off with a bit of unease
Finally it came down to two people : Stein and a man in a white suit
The bid was now at 900 million runes
Eventually the man in the white suit won with 960 million runes
“Congrats to bidder 918 for winning” Raizo said
Small moment of clapping
“Now then, that closes for this years Midnight. Feel free to stay and enjoy the afterparty.” Raizo said
People began to stand up
Before ashen stood up cosmic leaned into his ear
“Since i see you haven risen to a social position, i shall be referring to your official name, Azarael”
Ashen looked at cosmic in disbelief. Cosmic easily saw through his disguise
“I assume you are here to rescue him?” cosmic said
Confused, ashen doesnt respond
“Are you -” cosmic seemed to change his mind mid sentence. He seemed to be in thought for a moment until he continued on
“If you are ever curious about that man, go to the back hall of the stage and you will see a door. In there, you will see all the merchandise and some…handy information in files about them”
Without another word, cosmic left the auction
Later in the night as ashen was leaving the words cosmic said to him lingered in his mind
“Shall we go, my lord?” Yelena asked
“Yes-” ashen stopped midway.
“Actually, Yelena, do you mind if I use the washroom quickly?” Ashen said
“Oh of course not your majesty. Would you like me to direct you there?” Yelena said
“Um no, it's fine. Please tell the other demons to wait by the gate of the palace” ashen said
“Understood my lord” yelena went off to gathered the other demons who were, unfortunately, cut off in the middle of their feast below and communing with war friends
Ashen opens the door to the merchandise room
He used his ryu slightly just to light the room enough for him to see. He doesnt want to attract attention by opening the lights afterall
He looked around for files and found them
He looked through them and lifted one up.
“The history of the Midnight Auction” ashen whispered
He looked around and saw no one approaching so he opened the file and read it
(i will insert the history of midnight auction fully later but since this just a road map it isnt included just yet)
Just as Ashen read halfway, he shook himself and thought to himself that this isnt what he is here for
He puts the file back into the slot and flipped through the rest
He found the one on the crimson swordsman and opened it
He scanned down the page but it didn't take him long to find something familiar
He traced his finger over it and whispered to himself “Adam Greyfield”
Confused he flipped the paper over thinking it must have been an error made by the auctioneer
There wasn't an extra page
He looked through the bin and found no other file labeled as the crimson swordsman
“Thats impossible” sweat was now dripping down his chin
“Are you here to collect me or are you just gonna read that?” a voice came from behind ashen
Ashen whirled around thinking it was a guard but it was the caged man
The man observed ashen
“You aren’t the one who purchased me. Who are you? What are you doing here?”
“I um” ashen didnt know what to respond with
“I am Azarael of the demon kings” ashen said quickly without realizing he slipped up
“Demon…king?” the man said
“I haven't been to the demon kingdom in many years but i dont think there is a role called the king of demon kings”
In that moment ashen knew he messed up
“Who are you really? You are no demon thats for sure as you messed up your introduction. You are no dragon as they have already left. Are you Stein?”
“No i am not” ashen said with a deeper voice, trying to mimic the way cosmic spoke
“So you are human then” the man said
“I will be leaving now.” ashen hurriedly put away the files and stood up
“Wait, before you leave, help me. Please.” the man said
“Why should I? you are a dangerous criminal” ashen said
“I have my reasons” the man said
Ashen ignored it as he has read enough novels to not be stupid
“I have 2 younger brothers”
Ashen paused
“What?” ashen said
“What do you mean by that?”
“If I tell you, would you let me out?” the man said
Ashen hesitated but he said
“Fine. I will think about it” ashen said
“Good enough for me” the man said
“What I meant earlier is that I am trying to find them. My 2 younger brothers. I fear that… something bad may happen to them soon”
“And how does that justify your hundreds of deaths?” ashen said
“Someone hid my brothers. I suspect that it might be our parents but I can't pick out any trace nor clues as to where they may be. But I am not the only one looking for them”
“Huh?” ashen said
“Murders, high class mercenaries, elite assassins, even some elites in the dragon kingdom I have heard are all searching for my brothers. Those are the ones who I have killed. I must protect my brothers” the man said
“Why?” Ashen asked
“Is it not obvious? They are my younger brothers. My duty as the eldest is to protect them. Besides, I believe they are part of something bigger as the likes of Cosmic wouldn’t just hunt them for no reason”
“Cosmic is looking for me? That doesn’t make sense, i -” then ashen realized he messed up
“Indeed. He’s looking for-” the man stopped
“Did you…”
“No?” ashen said awkwardly
Footsteps were heard beyond the door
Ashen quickly dodges behind a rack
The door opened
“Seems like you are still here. I was starting to think my merchandise ran away” the man said
Raizo walked in behind
He looked at the open drawers of file
“What are you looking at, Raizo?” the man said
“Nothing Mr.Elm. Please, confirm this indeed is what you have purchased”
The two looked at each other
“It seems we have a guest that has overstayed their welcome”

The POV is now switched back to ashen where he woke up in a trial room
Orpheus claims that ashen was the incarnation of Azarael and wants to give Ashen a position within the great houses
4 other demons stand up seemingly in disapproval
They all say that ashen is not azarel
Orpheus disagrees
Thus the demons decide to settle it in a chamber meeting
The 5 great houses of demons have now converged to determine whether if ashen deserves the name of azarel. (remember whoever is named azarael in the demon world holds very high social power and basically the king)
1 house says ashen isnt demon so he shouldnt even be named
1 house says that it is still too early to call him azarael
The remaining houses agrees
All except for Orpheus’s house (yes even the king belongs to a house)
Orpheus says that all those accusation are false
Ashen does have demon blood.
Orpheus says that based on ashen’s blood pattern he is the son of Atlas
The room shifts slightly.
Atlas was a former warrior. And not just any warrior. A warlord. The highest rank of a soldier
However, Atlas supposedly betrayed the demon kind in the last great war
Ashen, while hearing this info, was shocked. He and his brother Alatrius were orphans ever since they were a baby. Raised by the orphanage. They never heard about their parents
POV switch to Ruby who is asking her father Basil the dragon king on who Alatrius really is
Basil sighed and said he doesn't want to talk about it
Ruby insists
Basil gives in and says that there used to be 4 Dragon Guards not 3
Cosmic of space, Scorch of earth, Thunder of sea, and Altaria of nature
Altaria was the 4th dragon guard
However after the first war she wished to retire as she now had a baby
Basil agreed with slight hesitancy as altaria was a war hero back then but he understands the position altaria is in and relinquishes her from the dragon guards
Switch back to ashens POV along with ruby’s POV (the page will be split half half)
“That boys father” the demon houses said
“That boys mother” Basil said
And on one page, “is a dragon”
The other page “is a demon”
POV switch to Adam whom now was in the human kingdom nursing his wounds from his battle against omen
He wakes up in a daze as he last recalls he once running away from both the dragons that were attacking him and omen.
He looks around just for himself to found in a human lab
He doesnt recognize the place as he was pretty sure when running away he found a place to rest
But he realised he must have fallen asleep due to his exhuastion
He tries to move but he is paralyzed
2 doctors walk in
They see that he is awake
Adam tries to use the araxys arm to break himself free but he couldnt feel anything
The arm was detached and was in a large tube
“It was hard to get that thing off of you, you know?” one of the doctor sat down next adam
Adam looked at the doctors nametag and it said Gilfer
Gilfer explain that they have no intention of harming him
They point at the arm and says that he shouldn't be using that anymore as it could cost him his life if he continues to wear it
However the other doctor was less warm about adam being here
“Why are we saving a criminal anyways?” the other doctor said. That doctors name is Rollad
Gilfer explains to adam that they already know who adam really is and to prove it they read adams full name and everything
“Adam Greyfield or commonly referred to as the Crimson swordsman. Age 18. Blood type B. Your left arm has been lost in an accident or some sort of fight. Hence is why you wear that for a replacement" Gilfer pointed at the araxys arm
“Although your blood is rather…abnormal” gilfer said shifting his glasses while looking at the paper
“Yeah, what he meant is that you are actually a demon and dragon hybrid. And interestingly you still look human. Bet you didnt know that now did you?” Rollad said distastefully
“I do” Adam managed to wheeze out. His body was recovering from the paralyzing agent the doctors gave him
“Incredible. Look at that recovery speed. A dose like that would've taken a normal human at least 2 days to just shake off and speak.” Gilfer said
“The healing factor of the dragons combined with the highly dense and resistant blood of the demons is just incredible”
Adam looked around his body. The wounds that he got from that night against omen was gone
“Your wounds healed by the time we gave you that dose. So creepy. Watched as your flesh weaved itself up straight in front of us” Rollad interrupted.
“Anyways we are getting carried away. Why you are really here is simple. The government wants you to work with us.”
Gilfor turned around and took out a piece of paper
“If you will work with us, you will allow us to study your blood and allow the usage and study of the araxys arm. And in return the government will clean you of your history. Give you one more chance at living as a regular human."
The room went silent
“Should you choose not to, we are instructed to eliminate you” Gilfer said looking at adam now suddenly with cold eyes
“But then again, it's your choice.”
Adam always wanted to live as a regular human. No more running. No more hunting people. No more sleepless nights watching for people hunting him.
Adam opens his mouth
POV returns to Ruby
Now in a state of shock Ruby doesnt know what to say
“I…plan to make him a Dragon Guard” Basil says hesitantly
“Why?” Ruby says with slight anger
“You have seen his power first hand. Having an asset like that on the field would prove well to us. Besides, i wasn’t the one who suggested it. It was him” Basil points to a figure sitting in a chair facing the window
It was alatrius
“Hey, Ruby” alatrius says gently
The room goes silent
“If you think by doing this you are making some amendments to me you are wrong” Ruby said angrily
“I am not.” Alatrius responded coldly
Shocked Ruby exits the room
Alatrius hesitated going after her but turned around
“So, what is your decision, Lord Basil” Alatrius said
Basil stood up from his chair and walked to the window
He sighed and opened his mouth
POV cuts and returns to ashen
The demon council hearing the truth of Ashen's identity was shocked
But then a house shouts that ashen still isn't a demon – he is only a half demon
This response wasn’t echoed among the other houses
There were now murmurs
Oprheus bangs his staff on the ground and says they must make a decision now
“The voting will begin now. To determine what to do with the boy. To crown him as Azarael? Or shun his name away from us?”
The demons houses murmured amongst themselves and got ready
“For those who wish for Ashen to be named amongst us, raise the red banner. For those who wish for him to be shunned and remain unamed raise the black flag”
A moment of silence passes and unanimously they raised a flag
The readers don’t see who raised what but they see Orpheus announce something
“It is decided, Ashen Greyfield, you shall…”
The POV cuts to the human kingdom (you will see why I did this again)
Many people were gathered under a platform as two men stand in a high platform
They address to the crowd
“As many of you know, it is a time of war. A time of despair and death.”
“We lost many forces and many comrades. But I say no more”
The pov switches to demons who also sit on a similar pavilion but in the demon kingdom instead
“We present to you the future of our kind”
Pov switch to the dragon kingdom with basil announcing
“They are the finest warriors and has proven their worth to our cause” basil
1 figures stood on each of the pavilions in their own kingdoms
The figures walked out
A panel with the 3 brothers with adam on the left, ashen in the middle, alatrius on the right — Adam has a dark face on him, ashen feels slightly horrified, and alatrius face is lifeless

Adam now sat in his room thinking what he had just become
Stein walks in and greets adam and sits down on a chair
Confused, Adam stands up and demands how he knew him
Stein ignores it and cuts straight to his question : “would you like to work with me?”
Adam says that he is already working with the government
Stein laughs and says “Do you truly believe that they can give you that? Do you really think they will let you go?”
Adams face turns
Stein grins knowing Adam's answer through the silence. He says “while they may not do so, I can.”
Stein stands up and introduces himself “I am Stein Vimsmoker, CEO of Cornrun, the main line of food production”
Stein holds his hand out but adam doesn't shake it
Adam was confused as of why the CEO of a food company want him
Stein asked adam to come for a ride with him
Adam refuses but stein says he understands and leaves adam an info card that he call him at any time — *

I have always wanted to do like an underworld auction sort of scene and i thought what if i just replace the scenes with project aberrant with the underworld auction It achieves the same thing towards the end anyways 1. I still do introduce the human world 2. Since this is underground, many different types of species will be there like dragons or demons and humans it will be a mix 3. So instead of the sort of awkward placement of the peace treaty arc, i can replace it with the underground auction arc and it will reach the same purpose as all 3 kingdoms come in to interfere with the auction 4. This introduces humans with bio-weapons perfectly 5. This auction also sort of explains how each kingdom is thriving still even if they dont engage with each other openly and their economic flow 6. This sets up steins entry relatively perfectly as stein being an Archon member (the leaders of the human kingdoms) I am not too sure if this auction idea is better than project aberrant If project aberrant fits better for the story currently then i will fit the auction in the sequel

Ok i have an idea of how to introduce adam but it is sort of messed up Someone captures adam and puts adam UP for auction Adam would be the final “piece” of the night coming up right after the bio-weapons as its relatively a perfect flow. He would be marketed with the araxys arm and as a super soldier

This is the auction scene “Well gentlemans, we have reached the moment you have all been waiting for tonight. Allow me to introduce our final item for tonight, and let me tell you, this is not an ordinary item one would say.” The auctioneer said The lights go out and light up a cage in the middle “One of the most wanted criminals in the history of Aragon, the crimson swordsman!” in the cage, adam was restrained with chains “With over 300 confirmed kills and even more to be uncovered to this day, the person that obtains this piece of history will receive the honor of executing him. Imagine yourself being the man who brought one of the most feared criminals of all into the light.” The crowd murmured “Which idiot will buy that? Just getting your hands dirty for a hefty price” a man whispered to his neighbor “Did i forget to mention that not only you get the honor, but also receive this?” the auctioneer pointed to the araxys arm on a screen overhead “Behold, the Araxys Arm. The name meaning the hands of god in the old texts, but its not unique because of its name” The auctioneer clicked a button showing a footage of adam fighting. “The arm acts as a magnet of sort if you will. It can fire energy projectiles, repulse things, pull things towards it and can even release EMP waves”
